As the largest archipelagic country in the world, Indonesia has wealth in the form of marine natural beauty along with its underwater biodiversity. Indonesia is also passed by two mountain circles, the Mediterranean and the Pacific. Therefore, Indonesia also has a very beautiful range of mountains and valleys.
Inspired by the work of Alfred Russel Wallace, the father of biogeography, who has written the results of his expeditions, explorations and research through a book entitled The Malay Archipelago. Through the book, Wallace divided the Indonesian archipelago through the Wallace line into two parts based on its biodiversity. Indo-Malay represents western Indonesia, while Austro-Malay represents eastern Indonesia.
From the idea of the Wallace line, we divided the Nusantara archipelago tourist area into Umbara and Aruna :
Umbara
The eastern part of the archipelago is rich in the beauty of the sea and its scenery. The region is recognized as home to the largest coral reef biodiversity in the world. You will be wandering in to paradise, where you can freely gain new and unfathomable experiences. Here, you will feel the sensation of a “umbara” (liberated) experience. Unlimited time and space.
Aruna
The western archipelago is full of beauty of its art and culture. You will be taken on a journey to get new experiences and feel yourself as an artist in making his work. Here you will also witness, experience for yourself and participate in being part of the traditional ceremonies of local culture since centuries ago that are still preserved today.
